Meet Our Staff

Dr. Abate was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. She graduated from the Ohio University Heritage School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a combined Pediatrics and Internal Medicine Residency at Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio. She is Board Certified in Pediatrics, Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She has expertise in caring for pediatric and young adult patients, and she has a special interest in helping patients with weight management issues.

Dr. Abate and her husband, Dr. George Abate, live in Findlay with their four children where she is active in the local homeschooling community. Dr. Abate also enjoys healthy cooking, reading and Pilates.
